About the role

We are looking for a Digital Marketing talent with a growth mindset and experience with marketing automation.

In the role, you will be hands-on responsible for the development and execution of the different digital marketing activities within BASE life science, such as marketing automation, SEO & SEM optimization, data & analytics and similar, and have experience supporting growth by digital tools.
Further, it is a prerequisite that you have experience working with Hubspot marketing hub.

You will be working in the intersection of our commercial excellence function, commercial and offering leads, account leads, our strategy office, and our delivery teams.

In addition to the non-negotiable soft skills and experience with Hubspot, you must have knowledge of tools like: PowerPoint, Photoshop/illustrator, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, GA4, LinkedIn ads, marketing automation flows and outbound tools (sprout social, email marketing, CRM campaigns, etc.) and salesforce CRM.

As a Growth Hacker and Digital Marketing Specialist your responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a Digital Marketing function at BASE life science.
  • Execution of agreed plan while building the Digital Marketing capacity.
  • Foster and disseminate the Growth Hacker mentality across marketing and beyond.
  • Integrate and drive growth through MQL in Hubspot.
  • Ensure a smooth transition and high-quality outcome from MQL to SQL.
  • Embed a holistic approach to lead generation across all channels.
  • Jointly with the Marketing Associate, build and maintain a strong online presence through engaging content creation, social media management, and ensuring execution of SEO + SEM tactics.
  • Conduct analysis to identify current trends and opportunities, providing valuable insights to guide marketing tactics and strategies.
  • Monitor and analyse web performance metrics and lead the implementation of effective campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and optimize ROI.
  • Participate in event coordination and ensuring data driven outcomes and lead generation.
  • Own the technical setup of marketing campaigns, including email campaigns, workflows, A/B testing, UTMs, and asset creation (forms, emails, and similar)
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, suggesting innovative ideas and technologies to enhance BASE life science´s marketing efforts.
  • Be open to ad-hoc work across marketing disciplines.


We offer this position in Barcelona (Spain), and it is required to have a valid Spanish work permit.


What makes you the best person for this job?

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing and or as a growth hacker in a B2B context.
  • Preferable with experience in professional services, business consulting and/or IT consulting.
  • The necessary experience working with marketing automation in Hubspot.
  • An “yes we can” attitude.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects, timelines, and responsibilities to deliver quality work within established deadlines.


On top of this, you have the following competences:

  • Bachelor or Master´s degree.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, preferably proven experience in collaborating effectively across different teams and levels in a matrix organization, coordinating different tasks and timelines. Planning and delivering well-structured visual and written content.
  • Proficiency in identifying and solving problems and implementing effective solutions.
  • Cross-cultural competence with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
