About the role

As a Senior Consultant within the System Operations team at BASE life science, you will be a crucial part of ensuring that our clients achieve the ROI on their technology investments. You will provide post-implementation services for operations setup to ongoing operations. In addition, you will bring your operational expert knowledge to BASE internally as well as to our clients, providing valuable insights and strategies to optimize processes and ensure the highest level of operational efficiency. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our clients and achieving our organizational goals.

As a Sr. Consultant Configuration Specialist in the system operations team your responsibilities include:

  • Technical and functional leadership on critical cloud document management systems, primarily supplied by Veeva Systems (SaaS), for our customers.
  • Solution, design and configuration.
  • Development and optimization of support procedures.
  • Take active part in management of change requests and system change management e.g., via Veeva QMS impact analyses.
  • Conduct Periodic Reviews, UAT support and complete other compliance tasks.
  • Work by the ITIL principles primarily within incident management, request fulfilment, and access management.
  • Potential for back-office – experience in ITSM tools, preparing reports and KPIs utilizing client ticketing tools (E.g. ServiceNow).
  • Provide technical support and act as SME for business stakeholders.

 

We offer this position in Spain and UK.

 

What makes you the best person for this job? 

  • At least 5 years of Veeva Vault configuration experience is required
  • Veeva Vault Platform System Administrator Certificate is required.
  • Experience with GxP/GAMP required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to structure and align complex challenges with multiple unknowns.
  • Drive and the ability to work alone or in small teams for our customers.

On top of this, you have the following competences:

  • API/SDK development experience preferred.
  • ITIL certification is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with cloud systems operations.
  • Knowledge and experience with DevOps and agile development would be a plus.
