About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to help us expand our software development capabilities as we see an increased demand from our clients for new software solutions particularly in the GenAI area, where we have started building a series of review assistants integrated directly into our clients existing solutions. You will be embedded in our Software Engineering team that is primarily focused on internal development, while you will be expected to spend most of your time on client projects.

We are currently focused on developing Python products related to data migrations and LLM-powered applications, with the expectation that our product portfolio will continue to expand over time. Being in a regulated industry like life science there is a high focus on product quality and solidity and for that reason we also work with best practises within testing, static code analysis and other mostly automated practises that can help us ensure the right standards of our software, while still being able to produce new functionality for our portfolio.

As a Senior Software Developer your responsibilities include:

• Co-developing MVP versions of new software products alongside our AI delivery team and cloud engineers.
• Working closely with our clients and provide technical expertise in discussions with both their technical and business representatives.
• Create top-level design of scoped solutions as well as providing technical advice and review for your colleagues.
• Ensure a high level of product quality for MVP solutions meant for production (automated tests, performance, solid design, maintainability, etc.).
• Participate in defining and implementing best practices for software development in our organisation.

 

We offer this position in Spain, Denmark or UK.

On top of this, you have the following competences:

• Software development using a statically typed language and Python.
• Experience in developing and maintaining a software repository.
• Experience in testing, debugging and troubleshooting code.
• Experience in building software in a serverless and/or cloud environment.
• Knowledge of version control using Git.
• Knowledge and experience in software delivery models, including CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions.
• Understanding of Agile working practices.

It will be a plus if you have these additional capabilities:

• Experience working in a client/vendor setup.
• Fluent in writing Python code.
• Experience working with containers (Docker).
• Experience with working in regulated environment (GxP).
• Understanding of the underlying LLM technology stack and/or experience in developing LLM-powered applications.
