About the role
As a DevOps Specialist with BASE life science, you will be a crucial part of ensuring our projects are operationally viable. You will part in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure in both internal and external projects. In addition, you will bring your operational expert knowledge to these projects, providing valuable insights and strategies to optimize processes and ensure the highest level of operational efficiency. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects and achieving our organizational goals.
As a DevOps Specialist you will have these responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure project infrastructure through Infrastructure-as-Code.
Collaborating closely with development team to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and related processes.
Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure related issues with the development team.
Continuously optimizing and improving development and operational practices such as monitoring, alerting, SDLC and so on.
Implementing and refining DevOps practices across projects.

On top, you have the next skills:
At least 3 years of experience working with DevOps practices (IaC, GitOPS, CI /CD, etc.).
Deep knowledge in 1 or more major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
SDLC and Software development practices.
CI / CD platforms (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
IaC tools (Terraform).
And it will be a plus if you have this additional Skills:
Experience with at least 1 programming language such as Poweshell, Bash or Python.
Operating complex infrastructure.
Experience working with DevSecOps.
