What will your role look like?
As a Migration Specialist your main task will be to help our Life Science customers’ R&D or Quality departments migrate data from legacy systems to new systems, in collaboration with a team of BASE specialists and possibly an external platform configuration team.
In the process you will analyse, enrich, and transform data in close collaboration with the customer, helping them understand their data and the required steps to make it fit the target system.
You will develop a custom solution to fit the customer project, built based on our migration framework, ensuring traceability and documentation of data transformations all the way to go-live. You may also take part in extending our migration framework.
To succeed in this role, it’s vital to be thorough and a team player – and it helps if you really like data!
We would guess this is true about you…
As a minimum, we expect you to have proven experience working with:
- Advanced data analysis
- Database operations (SQL)
- ETL processing
- Communication of technical topics to non-technical people (English, both written and oral)
- Proactive and quality mindset
Furthermore, the ideal candidate has:
- Experience with collaborative software development under version control (e.g. git)
- UNIX experience
- Understanding of pharmaceutical data (clinical, regulatory, quality, safety)
- Knowledge and/or experience with GxP processes
- Veeva Vault knowledge
- Experience with cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
