Senior Business Analyst for our Performance Management & Insights team in BASE life science

Why do we need you?
BASE life science Performance Management & Insights (DnA) is a centre of excellence covering data dimensions in Commercial aspects of pharma. The goal is to combine specialised knowledge across different disciplines to create lasting value in commercial life science aspects. The consulting and implementation areas we cover include Master Data Management, Data warehouse & Data Analytics front-end, Incentive compensation modelling, AI & machine learning, including data lake solutions. It is always combined with the dedicated knowledge around life science and established between business and IT. A practical example of these engagements is: Developing a strategy and concrete project roadmap for clients to become a data-driven company across all these disciplines.
BASE Data & Analysis covers a multitude of disciplines such as Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Advanced Analytics. We collaborate with other cross-related Customer Engagement domain areas (Digital Engagement, Content, CRM, Compliance) in BASE life science, to deliver the full set of solutions to our client portfolio.
What will your role look like?
You will join a team counting multiple Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts as well as Data Architects and Engineers. All focusing on the life science Customer Engagement practice area such as Market Access, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial Compliance. Your role will be to work in client projects as Business Analyst, bridging in-depth business knowledge to technical requirements with a high capacity for analysing data. This leading to generate some form of business optimization and identification of new business opportunities on the client side.
You will play a key role in the continuous development of DnA & deliverables. More specifically, you will be/do:
- Collating and interpreting data from relevant Commercial areas & functions
- Analysing data results and conveying to business solutioning
- Data mapping & reporting model design
- KPI & insights design & development
- Front-end dashboard & report formulation
- Client workshop facilitation & coordination
- Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
- Defining new data collection and reporting processes
- Ad hoc project support
The position can be based out of Denmark, Switzerland, Germany or Spain.
To succeed in the position, we would like you to:
- Hold an MSc, BSc or similar from a leading university in the field of Computer Science, IT, Finance, economics, Engineering or similar
- Have practical experience with business requirement gathering and translation to IT solutions
- A strong record of building relations and experience, by conveying complex information to a technical and non-technical audience
- Have practical experience with advanced Business Intelligence and / or Data Analytics projects
- Have practical experience with data analysis & modelling, data mapping & reporting design, data architecture as well as data consolidation & unification
- Have practical experienced with cross-functional stakeholder management as well as project workstream engagement & coordination work
- Be characterised by a high level of drive with an independent approach to problem-solving combined with a high genuine affinity
It is a great plus if you have:
- Experience in Veeva CRM, OCE or Salesforce application
- Experience with: MS Azure, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, SSMS, T-SQL, Visual Studio & GitHub
- Experience with advanced analytics projects – AI, ML, NLR, Deep Learning or similar
- Have experience with Scrum and Agile work methodology – SAFe, Kanban, DevOps, Jira
- The ability to quickly and efficiently structure and prioritize tasks and know-how to process details in an efficient manner
