We are a fast-growing consultancy in the life science industry, and we are seeking experienced Service Delivery Manager to help build BASE US Operations Organization and successfully anchor our first US engagements. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building and forming the BASE Culture in a US setting, with possibility to advance into a team lead role within the Global R&D practice 

BASE life science is a business and technology consulting company working exclusively within the life science industry. We specialize in working on the customer side of technology projects and IT systems.  

From our presence in Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, UK, France and Italy we serve clients across Europe. Over the last three years, we have experienced substantial growth and we believe that the combination of a problem-solving mindset and a tailored approach to each client will deliver more growth in the years to come. And now we are excited to begin our expansion in the U.S. 

To maximize our US outset, we have decided to focus our entry on a selection of services already well established and successful in Europe. This includes our industry best practice migration services and Veeva Vault Operations support. We will boost the initial startup period with EU consultants either remotely or by interim US postings. Ensuring both capability in front of the customer, and just as important, knowledge transfer and training of our US staff, hiring starting 2nd quarter of 2023. This will also safeguard that our company culture, spirit, and personal network is brought to North America, available for you to tap into. 

 

About the role: 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Delivery Manager / Application Manager with experience in Veeva Vault to manage the end-to-end service delivery and application management of Veeva Vault platform for our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring delivery in right time and quality, while at the same time managing client stakeholders and bridging the gap between business and IT. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage Client stakeholders within Business and IT  

  • Take active part in the support of the application in close collaboration with client business team 

  • Drive management of change requests e.g., via Change Advisory Boards 

  • Advice and challenge customers on configuration and operation of Veeva Vaults and supporting systems 

  • Perform needed compliance related tasks, i.e. Periodic Reviews, Veeva Release Reviews, Change Request documentation etc. 

  • Actively take part in building BASE team and culture in US 

  • Act as point of contact and coordination of services ensuring same quality across our RD Practice, while providing US market feedback to service owner. 

 

 

Required skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 

  • Experience with working in a GxP regulated area is required 

  • At least 5 years of experience managing service delivery and application management  

  • Strong knowledge of Veeva Vault platform, including administration, configuration, and customization. 

  • Experience with Agile and ITIL methodologies. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting, prioritizing own tasks, and managing own time effectively. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
