About the role

As a Senior Consultant in Medical Operations with BASE life science, you will be a crucial part of ensuring our clients achieve the ROI on their technology investments. You will provide post-implementation support for operations setup to ongoing operations. In addition, you will bring your operational expert knowledge to BASE internally as well as to our clients, providing valuable insights and strategies to optimize processes and ensure the highest level of operational efficiency. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our clients and achieving our organizational goals.

As a Senior Consultant your responsibilities include:

  • Identification and implementation of process optimizations supporting systems.
  • Coordination, gathering, and elicitation of process and technology changes required by:
    • the field medical user community
    • the medical information user community
  • Business administration of field medical, medical information, and content management systems (day-to-day MDM management, user management, and system administration to support the end user community).
  • Business ownership of SOP updates and periodic system reviews.

You understand the business processes of life science operations in the context of the supporting data and systems. You are prideful in being an SME and enjoy the role of key contributor in the service and support of business operations. Being a collaborator in a high-performing team is a desire, and yet you are capable of operating independently when needed. Ideally, you are experienced in support of the Veeva commercial suite.

On top of this, you have the following competences:

  • 2+ years of business administration experience of systems such as Vault Medical CRM and Vault PromoMats (User management, security profile, territory management) supporting the field medical and medical information teams.
  • 2+ years of experience serving as business operations lead and/or business operations owner.
  • Good business knowledge of HCP engagement and Medical Information processes.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills, liaising with IT teams and business stakeholders.

It will be a plus if you have these additional capabilities:

  • Business Subject Matter Expert in Commercial life sciences.
  • Knowledge of other medical affairs processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of GxP validation process.
  • Vault Align experience.
