About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Senior Consultant with expertise in the pharmaceutical industry to join our System Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing post-implementation consultancy, designing, implementing and supporting technology solutions, L3 support, and ensuring optimal performance of critical IT systems such as Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, and Salesforce. This role requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical processes, regulatory requirements, and advanced IT knowledge to support our business objectives and optimize our IT infrastructure.

As a Senior Consultant your responsibilities include:

• Lead configuration initiatives to optimize IT solutions, ensuring they meet evolving business and regulatory needs.
• Provide expert advice and support post-implementation of IT systems, ensuring they align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Offer L3 support for Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, and other critical IT systems like Salesforce, resolving complex issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and systems.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify system inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in IT and pharmaceuticals.

 

We offer this position in Germany or the rest of Europe, with a preponderance of clients to be served in Germany.

The ideal candidate for the L3 CRM Consultant position in Pharma is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in managing CRM or Data management systems.
They are adept at troubleshooting complex issues, providing expert post-implementation support, and optimizing CRM systems to enhance business operations. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential. Certifications in IT and project management, along with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation, complete the profile of the ideal candidate.

On top of this, you have the following competences:

• German language proficiency (in addition to English).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud computing, customer interaction and data analytics in a pharma context.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in IT systems, with specific experience in CRM from Veeva.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong sense of responsibility to complete task under time constraints.
• Self-driven.

It will be a plus if you have these additional capabilities:

• Proven experience as a senior IT consultant, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful IT projects, preferably with some Agile experience.
• Best practices in IT service management (ITIL).
• Knowledge of HTML5, SQL and Apex code languages.
