BASE life science launches its AI Graduate Programme
Artificial Intelligence is transforming the life sciences industry. At BASE life science, we believe the future belongs to consultants who combine strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of business and regulatory challenges.
To support this vision, we are launching the AI Graduate Programme – an 18-month development journey designed to help early-career AI professionals build practical experience while contributing to meaningful projects from day one.
As part of our long-term investment in attracting, developing, and retaining AI talent, the programme will be based in Copenhagen, where graduates will work alongside BASE’s AI specialists and consultants while contributing to international AI initiatives across the life sciences industry.

The AI Graduate Programme has been designed to develop exactly those capabilities.
Participants will combine structured learning with real client work, mentoring from experienced consultants, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Rather than focusing only on theory, graduates will learn by building solutions that create measurable business value.

Learning journey
Months 1–6
Build technical foundations, understand BASE methodologies, and support ongoing AI initiatives.
Months 7–12
Take ownership of workstreams, collaborate closely with project teams, and contribute to solution development.
Months 13–18
Lead AI deliverables, independently solve business challenges, and deliver measurable impact for clients.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for curious problem-solvers who are passionate about AI and eager to apply technology to real business challenges.
Successful candidates will typically have a background in:
- Computer Science
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data Science
- Engineering
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- or related disciplines
Experience with Python, machine learning, or AI projects is valuable, but curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to learn are equally important.
