About the role
As a Configuration Specialist, you have a fundamental understanding of commercial business areas in and outside life science, excellent technical acumen, and the ability to distil business requirements into solution architecture and system design, by translating customer requirements into implementation plans. An integral part of your role is working with clients to further their digital asset management capabilities through Customer Engagement.
Moreover, you need to have a solid understanding of Vault PromoMats Administration including amongst others the configuration of lifecycles and workflows, objects and document administration, user permissions and security and reporting. Also, an understanding integration points for multichannel content both with Veeva CRM and third-party technology solutions. As a subject matter expert for Veeva Vault PromoMats, you can advise and guide the customer on digital asset management principles, ensuring available Vault functionality is implemented appropriately.
Leveraging your expertise, you will estimate and engineer reliable solution implementation projects, together with a PM, to deliver the designed solution by joining a hybrid team of internal resources, client teams and vendors/service providers and act as a reference point for the solution design throughout the implementation project, monitoring risks and resolving challenges.
The position is placed in the Content Excellence practice area within BASE, which combines highly specialized business knowledge of the Pharma commercial domain with in-depth technology expertise to maximize the value creation from the digital platform of our Pharma clients.
We offer this position in Barcelona or Madrid, Spain.
What makes you the best person for this job?
As a minimum, we expect you to have at least 3 years’ experience as a consultant in a configuration role, specifically:
- Veeva Vault Certified.
- Deep hands-on understanding of all aspects of the Vault PromoMats configuration.
- Ability to define standards & best practice and ensure compliance in the configuration & development team.
- Experience in managing UAT.
- Experience in delivering end user training.
- Experience in release management.
- Robust understanding of IT architecture concepts.
- Ability to participate in and lead design workshops with the customer
On top of this, you have the following competences:
- Qualifications in computer science, information technology, engineering, or similar background.
- Practical experience with agile and waterfall project management.
- Proven experience with implementing cloud solutions.
- Experience of providing business /operations support.
- Understanding of GxP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Vault CRM, IQVIA and/or Salesforce solutions is a plus.
- Understanding of the pharma & life science market would be beneficial.
